On the weblink for FB that you have posted you can do anything can do on the phone and all that you can do on FB.
The iphone guild battle is festival battle on FB interface. Under Guild tab.
And you can login to both at the same time - the app and web link.
Also the half page is most an IE problem. Use Safari or Mozilla - newest versions do not do half page except occasionally when app is in between updates.
